Do you provide the marriage license?
No. Marriage licenses are issued by the county probate court. Couples are responsible for obtaining their license prior to their ceremony.

Is there a waiting period in South Carolina?
Yes. South Carolina requires a 24-hour waiting period between applying for the marriage license and when it can be used. Once issued, the license does not expire.
Can you officiate our ceremony and sign the license?
Yes. Our officiant services include performing the ceremony and completing the legal signing of your marriage license.
How many guests can we have?
The maximum capacity for any ceremony is 30 guests. Children of the couple are always included.
Is there a fee for additional guests?
Yes. To preserve the intimate nature of the space, additional guests are $20 per person, based on your selected package.
Is the space handicap accessible?
Our building includes a handicap-accessible ramp and handicap-accessible restrooms. However, the ceremony space is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs only. There is no elevator.
Is this the same as going to a courthouse?
No. Our space is a private, intentional alternative to the courthouse. Courthouse ceremonies are typically brief and transactional. Our ceremonies are unhurried, personalized, and held in a beautifully prepared setting.
Do you allow photos and video?
Yes. Photos and short video clips may be captured for promotional purposes unless a written opt-out is submitted prior to your ceremony.
How do we book?
All ceremonies require a deposit to reserve your date. Deposits are non-refundable. Remaining balances are due prior to your ceremony.
Are walk-ins allowed?
No. All services are by appointment only.
Moment Capture
Moment Capture is a ceremony documentation add-on that uses a stationary camera to quietly capture your ceremony as it naturally unfolds. Additional $85 Fee This service uses a stationary camera to document your ceremony as it naturally unfolds. Q: How are the photos taken? A: A camera is placed on a tripod and captures images automatically throughout your ceremony, including vows, ring exchange, and your first kiss. Q: How many photos will we receive? A: Most ceremonies receive between 150-300 digital images depending on ceremony length. Q: Will the photos be edited? A: No. Images are delivered unedited to allow for same-day delivery and preserve authenticity. Q: Will there be posed photos or group shots? A: No. This service does not include posed portraits, family photos, or staged images. Q: How will we receive our photos? A:You will receive a secure digital download link, typically the same day. Q: Can we post or print the photos? A: Yes. Photos are provided for personal use and may be shared or printed freely. Q: Is flash used? A: No. Photos are captured using available light to maintain the ceremony atmosphere.
