Guest capacity depends on the ceremony space selected. Promise Aisle – Up to 30 guests Promise Garden – Up to 40 guests Promise Room – Up to 25 guests Each space is intentionally designed to maintain the intimate and peaceful atmosphere that defines Khristian’s Light.

Guest limits must be respected to ensure seating availability, safety, and the intimate experience of the venue. If additional guests attend beyond the number included in your package, an additional guest fee of $20 per person may apply, and approval must be given in advance. Guests exceeding the maximum capacity of the ceremony space cannot be accommodated.

Yes. For seating and safety purposes, all guests including children count toward the total guest count.

Yes. Krissy Donald and Terry Donald are ordained wedding officiants and commissioned notaries in South Carolina and are able to perform legally binding marriage ceremonies.

Yes. Couples must obtain a valid South Carolina marriage license from the probate court before the ceremony can legally take place.

Yes. South Carolina requires a 24-hour waiting period from the time you apply for a marriage license before it can be issued.

Yes. We offer private tours by appointment so couples can experience the space and discuss their ceremony plans.

Yes. Khristian’s Light offers romantic proposal setups, including private time on the Promise Aisle and optional décor such as our light-up “Marry Me” marquee sign.

No. Khristian’s Light does not offer same-day weddings. All ceremonies must be scheduled in advance to ensure proper preparation and scheduling.

Khristian’s Light offers three ceremony spaces: Promise Aisle Indoor ceremony space Capacity: Up to 30 guests Promise Garden Outdoor ceremony space Capacity: Up to 40 guests Promise Room Indoor Celebration and signing space Capacity: Up to 25 guests

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your ceremony date and time.

The remaining balance must be paid before the ceremony date as outlined in your booking agreement.

We accept secure payments including: • Credit or debit card • Online payment links • Approved digital payment methods

Deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve your ceremony date and remove the time slot from availability.

Couples should arrive 15–20 minutes before their scheduled ceremony time unless other arrangements have been approved.

Yes. Couples must bring their valid South Carolina marriage license to the ceremony. A legal ceremony cannot take place without the license present.

Yes. Couples are welcome to include personal vows in their ceremony.

Yes. Couples may bring their own photographer or videographer as long as they respect the ceremony space and officiant.

The following items are not permitted: • Confetti • Glitter • Rice • Artificial flower tosses • Any items that create excessive cleanup

No. Ceremony décor and seating arrangements are prepared for each event and may not be moved or altered by guests.

yes you may bring your own officiant. However, the package pricing remains the same, as the ceremony packages include the use of the venue, ceremony coordination, preparation of the ceremony space, and reserved appointment time. All outside officiants must: • Be legally authorized to perform marriages in South Carolina • Arrive on time and follow the venue’s ceremony schedule • Respect the ceremony space and venue policies Khristian’s Light operates by appointment and may host multiple ceremonies throughout the day, so all officiants must be prepared to begin the ceremony at the scheduled time.
